1st LFUGC Joint Christmas Party

December 18, 2010 marked a significant event for the La Filipina Uy Gongco Group of Companies (LFUGC). The La Filipina Uy Gongco Corporation - Iloilo, Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation - Iloilo and Amigo Terrace Hotel gathered all together to celebrate the 1st LFUGC Joint Christmas Party held at the Grand Ballroom of Amigo Terrace Hotel. The theme of the event is Philippine Cultural Heritage which brought in the participants dressed in elegant Filipinianas and varied Filipino costumes.

The highlight of the celebration is the giving out of Loyalty Awards to those who have served the company for numerous years. Mr. Felipe Uygongco, Vice Chairman of LFUG, led the awarding of tokens and plaques to the awardees as a symbol of gratitude for their loyal service to LFUGC. Awardees for 10 years and 15 years of service were given elegant watches. Commemorative rings bearing the company logo were awarded to the recipients of 20 years, 30 years, and 35 years of service loyalty awards. 

Adding fun to the event is the Cultural Dance Contest participated by each company. Competing groups showcased outstanding dancing talents and delivered satisfying presentation that left the audience astounded. Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation was declared winner of the contest.

LFUGC personnel were surprised with a raffle draw. Ten (10) lucky winners will enjoy a free trip to Palawan. Also, there were ten (10) winners of P1,000 cash.

This Christmas Party is one of the many joint activities of LFUG that provide opportunity for all members to develop camaraderie and also provide an outlet for the organization to discover hidden talents within its people.
